Stanley: Official Mascot of the Fidelco Fall Classic

Stanley, a Fidelco German shepherd, was born on April 7, 2007. Eight weeks later, he went to live with Patty and Tom Adams who, as his “foster parents,” loved and cared for him for approximately 14 months. That was when Fidelco asked for him to be returned. Despite their heavy hearts, the Adams did so (they are seasoned foster parents) and Stanley began his formal guide dog training on May 23rd. After six months, Stanley will be matched and teamed with a person who has a visual disability. Theirs will be a special bond and Stanley will work hard each day to give his partner freedom, independence and love. Proceeds from the Fidelco Fall Classic will support Stanley and his littermates’ training; helping to provide a new generation of Fidelco guide dogs.
